The Spraoi Festival, held over the August Bank Holiday weekend in Ireland, is an annual riot of colour, energy and excitement with an atmosphere that is unique among Irish festivals. It takes over city centre areas of Waterford for three days, transforming the streets and quays of the city into a giant stage for acts from all over the world. Spraoi is committed to the advancement of street arts, and the festival produces, premieres and showcases some of the best in the world. The festival is also a platform for top quality world music. And it's all free!

Tramore Races have been providing exciting entertainment for racing fans in south east Ireland for more than 200 years. The 80-acre venue now boasts totally up-graded facilities with three car parks, two stands and all-tarmac enclosures.

The festival in August is still the highlight of the summer season in Waterford when over Four days of sponsored races, fashion, and serious socialising make it a week when many Waterford emigrants make their annual pilgrimage home to enjoy the festival atmosphere that is around the town as over 25,000 are expected to attend the races.

2005 saw the introduction of the Tramore Racecourse Supporter's Club which will provide supporters of the Tramore Racecourse with a means of showing their support for one of the resorts most important leisure facilities. The club has now grown with over 350 members enjoying great craic at the track....Great value at 120 euros.
